Rei Hissori VS Yami no Kira

Yami saw his opponent 'appear' out of nowhere, close to where he had aimed the rocks. He watched him leap toward him as he prepared another Atsugai attack. He had noticed that the fireballs were never intended to strike him directly from their incoming trajectory being just off what it should have been.
As the technique became ready for release, he saw his opponent had readied a sword blow at him. Yami used his slowing momentum from the leap out of the earthen dome to twist his body enough so his sword could be brought upwards. As blades connected, Yami released the technique and erupted wind chakra from his body
"ATSUGAI!"

Struck by the wind chakra, Rei plummeted to the ground. If he didn't time this right, he was doomed...

The moment Rei hit the ground, he made a seal. Instead of striking the ground, he went straight through it, again using the Tunneling Jutsu (this time leaving a much larger hole). He went quite far into the ground before the opponents jutsu's momentum stopped and he moved under his own power. That was something.

Bursting through the ground, sending rocks and debry flying, he looking very disterbing to say the least. He gave a small smile that literly split his face, a hole appearing in his cheek showing his back teeth. Again, that sinister chuckle sounded through the clearing. Quicker than thought, he pulled out a scroll and drew some blood across the seal. A burst of smoke appeared obscuring Rei for a moment.

When the dust settled, ten swords burst through the summoning mist, all aimed directly at the man in black. And of Rei there was no sign...

Ten swords had been summoned. Yami could see that much. That meant one thing, his opponent had survived and could use high level Doton techniques to slow him down by some method. This new information had been logged and put aside all in an instant.
He had a problem it would seem, those swords didn't act like normal projectiles, those would show some wavering from the wind. This spelled trouble so he had to unleash his counter to such things. Once again he combined his chakra.
"Fire Hurricane"
As he fell toward the ground, a hurricane formed in front of him, setting alight as the halves combined. Swiftly, it headed toward his opponent, cutting stright through the swords on its path toward him. This should make things harder for his opponent he thought.

Despite the emmense fire hurricane that had just been created, a few of Rei's swords had still made it through. Invisible, his chakra emissions gone, Rei was once again in the safety of the trees, retreating from the jutsu his foe had summoned.

But, despite his best attempts of invisiblity, it seemed to be following him!!

One part of his brain focused on his swords, dancing away at his opponent, trying to cut him to shreds. The other was wondering how the hell this hurricane was tracking him. He could not be seen, and he had no chakra to track...

The nin-wire! The chakra he was using on the nin-wire to manipulate the swords was leading the thing straight to him.

His respect for his foe increased slightly. But still his mind worked, and something clicked. He ran around the edge of the trees, getting behind his foe. Unnoticed by the distracted shinobi, the nin-wire encircled him loosely.

Then, with a gesture from Rei, they tightned. The swords would become useless now, but they were, as all of his latest attempts, just a distraction. Rei smiled as he detached the wire from his fingers.

The invisible clone dragged the man in black down into the hole as a dome of earth closed around him. Breaking out, the man did not realise something had been added to his clothing when the clone grabbed him...

As the hurricane the man summoned came towards him, now in the line of it's path lay none other than it owner. With a smile, Rei detonated the tag he had his clone attach to the mans back, with the resulting explosion sending the man head first into his own jutsu...

The irony did not escape Rei.

Yami felt the wire tighten around him and realised what had just happened. He knew that the hurricane would not prove an issue. Before anything else could be considered, survival instinct leapt into play. Luckily the wire had only bound him across the middle, if he didnt have his arms, this would not have been possible. He leapt upwards and tore his cloak from his body. An explosion a moment later propelling him higher into the sky and clear of the top of the hurricane. Now he had a problem, just how was he gonna get safely down....
Then an insane idea hit him, he released the hurricane jutsu, the fire disappearing as the two halves separated and began wind surfing around the top half, using the scraps of his cloak to provide some level of manoeuvrability. That had given him a secondary idea which he could manage, if only just.
It was time to heat things up a whole lot more. Yami collected his chakra and began to radiate it out.
"Weather Transformation Technique."
He began to recover some of his chakra from the minute traces in the air as he landed on one of the fallen trees. Now things should be interesting. He was used to this harsh weather, how would his opponent fare against the force of the desert?

Taking off his cloak, Rei looked at his foe. He had been hurt by the explosion, but not as badly as he had hoped. He dismissed the hurricane before he hit it and he had just made a desert. Well, at least he's used up an aweful lot of chakra, and Rei still had pleanty to go around.

Jumping high into the air, invisible again and low chakra emissions, he pulled out a scroll and summoned a hundred swords. They quickly gained speed, falling fast to the ground around his target. No matter where he moved, at least one would strike him...

Yami looked up... how many swords were around him now?? This was getting tiresome, it was time to pull out more high powered attacks, starting with a wind strike.
"Kami Oroshi"
The wind picked up around Yami, only instead of sending it toward his opponent, he used the vortex to surround him, its energy being concentrated solely on spinning round, increasing its defensive capabilities. He used this break to take one of the chakra pills he kept hidden. Immediately he felt a great deal of his strength return and he let the rest augment his physical being, healing the lesser wounds he had sustained.

Gotcha.

While ninety per cent of the swords where scattered to the four winds, ten of them held true, guided as they were by the nin-wire Rei used to send chakra down, pushing straight through the wind like it wasn't there. They were already on top of him, although Rei could not understand why. His foe seemed to be fussing with his equipment.

Oh well.

He had reckoned on him using his wind chakra to knock the swords off target. Hell, he had counted on it. With the main bulk gone, the foe would take his attention away for a split second. As he had already shown his control over ten swords at once, he decided to add a little something this time. The swords closed on a more attention deprived foe than expected and Rei made the tiger sign.

The ten explosive tags on the ten swords exploded.

Thankfully, the vortex had diverted the majority of the swords, those remaining could be dealt with in a single sword movement at this range. Then they exploded, this was... unexpected. Yami withstood the blast and then noticed why he was able to do so, the vortex had become ablaze with fire. His defensive technique had worked on a dual level. This aided him greatly, now he could focus on healing his new burns when he could. Right now however, he blocked out the pain and finished the Oroshi technique, sending it directly at his opponent. He drew the second katana and reattached the armour to his arms and legs. Now... Round 2 would begin
